Brendan’s journey to veterinary medicine started not with animals, but with people- serving as an EMT and firefighter in his hometown in New Jersey. That early experience in emergency services shaped a lifelong commitment to helping others in moments that matter most.
After moving to Indiana, Brendan pursued a degree in Communication from Purdue University while continuing to serve his community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to frontline care with IU Health, driven by a deep sense of responsibility to support others during a time of crisis.
In 2022, Brendan joined the Community Pet Healthcare team, bringing with him the same heart, leadership, and calm-under-pressure mindset that defined his time in EMS. Today, he focuses on ensuring that every pet- and every family- feels seen, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Outside the clinic, Brendan enjoys learning new skills, watching hockey and baseball, and spending time with his spouse Alex and their rescue pit bull, Sammy — the true boss of the household.
