Eryn joined our team in September, 2020 and became the Practice Manager in January of 2022. Eryn has loved animals her whole life and earned her RVT license in 2003. She started working as a veterinary assistant when she was 15 years old at a veterinary clinic in her hometown in southern Indiana. She then moved to Denver, Colorado to go to veterinary technician school. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. She then moved back to Indiana and obtained her RVT license. She worked for a veterinary practice in Avon, Indiana for several years where she gained great experience in multiple facets of being a veterinary technician. In 2009, she began teaching at Vet Tech Institute at International Business College in Indianapolis, Indiana. She instructed vet tech students in the clinical laboratory courses as well as the exotic animal course. She enjoyed teaching and making a difference in her students’ lives. She worked there for 11.5 years before coming to join the CPH team. She has known Dr. Cantrell since 2002 and enjoys working with some of her former students. Eryn has a special interest in surgery, anesthesia, oncology and anything lab related. She has never questioned her decision to be a vet tech. She believes it’s what she was meant to do. She truly loves helping animals and their owners too. She has a sweet spot for Boxers and currently owns a rescue one named MeatLoaf. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
